3-Vineyard Cycling Tour
Description du service
From the vineyards of the Hotel Royal St-Pol, through the King’s botanical garden, the Abbey Saint Victor and the Halle aux Vins to the Roman Arena, the Clos Bruneau, to the Îles de-la-Cité and Saint-Louis, we develop a comprehensive overview of medieval Paris and begin to see the city with different eyes. There are two wine tastings, the first about half way along to keep the energy high, and the second in the cellars of a wine shop that will connect you with this rich past, bringing into focus the spirit of place. Come with us for an exceptional visit and explore another aspect of the role the vine still plays in the urban landscape. Exclusive wine tastings reflecting the flavours of the grapes planted in the various vineyards, accompanied by carefully selected cheeses, fermented breads and seasonal vegetables will complete this unique outing. Combine the pleasures of visiting the three most historic neighbourhoods of Paris - the Marais, Jardin des Plantes (Latin Quarter/Left Bank), and the islands of the Cité and Saint-Louis - and the discovery of each quarter’s hidden vineyard with the joys of cycling. We take backstreets to avoid traffic and bicycle paths when riding along main thoroughfares. Helmets are also provided for those who desire them. Exclusive, gourmet and invigorating! Minimum 8 participants (combined or private bookings).
